Institutional Strengthening & Impact

CFF-Ghana’s Institutional Strengthening & Impact Programme focus on how well government is delivering quality services in all areas including education, energy, water, sanitation, and healthcare delivery among others to the benefit of all citizens through evaluation (research).

Our Institutional Strengthening & Impact work also cover advocating for increase institutional credibility, and integrity of processes of democratic representation including elections and election observation at local and national levels.

This priority programme is driven by empirical data to enhancing good governance at all levels of development. It includes the strategy of developing and utilizing Governance Performance Index (GPI) aimed at measuring the quality of public service and how responsive they are to the needs of citizens.

Climate Change, Sustainable Energy & Environmental Governance:

At CFF-Ghana, one of our priority programme intervention areas are Climate Change, Sustainable Energy and Environmental Governance.

We advocate using cutting-edge research to ensure that governments put citizens at the center of their sustainability plans, financing and policies towards a green transformation including enhancing energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, promoting sustainable use of natural resources, minimizing environmental pollution, and increasing citizens participation.

Our advocacy also aims to ensure local and international laws on climate , sustainable energy and environment are effectively implemented to strengthen resilience and increased impacts of green transformation in Ghana and beyond with the view of contributing towards the achievement of the United Nation’s Agenda 2030 and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Sustainable Justice, Peace & Security

CFF-Ghana works toward collective efforts to strengthen consensus and promote access to justice, judicial accountability, and strict enforcement of laws to ensure justice for all.

Our Sustainable Justice, Peace & Security Programme also seeks to collectively mobilize and advocate for the use of inclusive security mechanisms to prevent conflicts, violent extremism, ethic cleansing and crimes against humanity among others with the view of building a just, fair and peaceful societies.

Social Accountability for Social Protection:

In our quest to contribute towards the achievement of the overall social goal of the global development agenda, CFF-Ghana uses its Social Accountability for Social Protection Programme to promote the right of citizens to enjoy social security from the state irrespective of their status.

Our Social Accountability for Social Protection Programme basically aims to identify developmental gaps with the view of advocating to addressing same, increase accountability for social development at the local level geared towards improving state responsiveness to quality service delivery.

The intervention involves conducting assessment in terms of service delivery to measure the level of development at local districts.
