Major Programme Focus Area

Our Citizens’ Participation and Accountability (CiPA) program is a strategic initiative designed to influence public policy and promote government accountability and transparency through aggressive advocacy engagements utilizing Policy Forums, Stakeholder Dialogues, traditional and social media platforms to inform and empower citizens to have a greater say and demand accountability from duty bearers on how state resources are utilized to their benefit. Over the years, CFF-Ghana made tremendous contributions in the fight against corruption, assessment of government projects, institutional strengthening, and citizens’ empowerment through media engagements, workshops, forums, town hall meetings, seminars and conferences thereby influencing national policies and shaping the governance architecture of Ghana.
The Foundation places special focus on integrated development to contribute meaningfully to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) targets. On our education programme, the Foundation empowers Ghanaian students through its Inclusive Education (IE) advocacy campaigns and the Public Speaking Educational Improvement (literacy, gender &leadership) program which enable school children to see education as the key that unlocks greatness. Our educational projects are purposed to maximize the educational gains in support of the ongoing global drive to achieving the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4); “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all” Other priority initiatives under its specialized projects include but not limited to; Peace, Security & Electoral Integrity, Social Accountability, Migration, Child protection, Quality Healthcare delivery, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), Agriculture, Climate Change among other initiatives.
